The Library consists of the following: Library reception/junior library area, main adult library area, The Caithness Room (Local History), back office/storage area, foyer and staff toilet.

The back office/storage area is also shared with staff on the Far North Mobile Library as their base.

No toilets public available but the hospital toilets across the main road are available.
