the message for drivers going out for celebrations or nights out is only no drinking is likely to keep you under the new limit. For drivers heading out for big party or celebration then it maye be well into the next day before alcohol has cleared from the body. There are many variables from body mass to food eaten and many other things. so leave plenty of time before driving next day.

A driving license is valuable asset and loss of it can have huge consequences fro personal transport and employment.

Scotland's drink drive limit has been lowered from 80mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood to 50mg of alcohol per 100ml of blood.
